Muhammad (pbuh) is the last prophet of Allah.He was sent to all mankind before Islam and he is the person who passed human knowledge, wisdom and teachings about life to other humans, which are still relevant today. The name 'Muhammad' literally means 'one who is praised', which refers to Muhammad's high moral standards. His amazing qualities are surely not limited to his devotion for Allah, but also extend into other aspects of his human character that endear him amongst people, making him a perfect role model for us all to follow. Muhammad's virtues were not limited to being a great military leader or a dominant ruler. He also possessed many other qualities, which have been explained in detail by the Quran and the traditions of Muhammad (pbuh). A few examples of these include:One who believes in Muhammad (pbuh) and his teachings should follow them; if we don't, we may miss out on immeasurable rewards and blessings from Allah. Muhammad said: “The best property is knowledge, and the best spending is that on one’s family. And the best trust is that between family members." (Bukhari). The Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said: "Pay back a good deed with a good deed, and a bad deed with a bad deed, and an atom’s weight in gold equal to the weight of an atom’s weight in gold when given to the relatives. If you return good for evil, you will have reward from Allah." (Bukhari)One who believes in Muhammad (pbuh) and his teachings should spend his wealth on his family. Spending money on one's own needs is not recommended because it is safer to spend on other relatives or friends. Muhammad said: “The most beloved of actions to Allah are the most regular, even if little. And there is great reward in that for the doers of them" (Bukhari). A hadith qudsi states: "Allah, the Exalted, spoke to three angels, who were on duty at His Throne. He asked them: ‘How are you?’ They answered: ‘We are fine, thanks be to You.’ He said: ‘What are you doing?’ They replied: ‘We are worshipping You. ’ He asked: ‘Is there anything else?’ They replied: ‘Yes, we are worshipping people.’ He said: ‘Indeed the best of worship is Your praise. Indeed, You are the Pardoner and You bestow forgiveness. And indeed You are the All-Merciful One Who forgives those who repent from those who do not know that they have sinned.” (Ishaq)A hadith qudsi states: "The most beloved of actions to Allah are those which show gratitude and worship."
